A good quality George III Period Mahogany Bench or Luggage Stand in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. A very useful large sized luggage stand with slatted top. Beautifully constructed of solid mahogany with elegant square tapered legs. This piece would work well as a window seat, a bench for a hallway, or placed at the foot of double bed. A seat cushion has been newly made to go with this bench, covered in a pale blue coloured cotton jacquard weave fabric.
