An impressive mid 18th Century Welsh Oak Cwpwrdd Deuddarn (a two part Welsh cupboard) probably North Cardiganshire with a moulded cornice and suspended turned finials, three arched panelled cupboard doors each with knobs the centre cupboard with small drawers and divisions, the outer cupboards with half depth shelves raised on a large base with three drawers above two large panelled cupboard doors with knobs opening to reveal a half depth shelf. Raised on shaped bracket feet. This piece comes in two parts for ease of transport.

Note: This is a typical cupboard from North Cardiganshire in Wales and while there are similar examples illustrated there is a degree of variation in the layout of the spaces with some having two doors to the top and two drawers to the frieze whereas some have two wide drawers and a narrow centre drawer. The panelling is of a similar variety with the base doors having a combination of one horizontal panel either above or below two horizontal panels, some with just two panels and some again with four panels as in this example.
